Software Test Engineer

CryptoNext Security is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Test Engineer / ingénieur de test et validation logiciels to join our R&D team focused on post-quantum cryptography. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and cybersecurity solutions with a passion for pushing the boundaries of what is currently possible in the field.

About the Position

Working within CryptoNext R&D, the Software Test Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. He focus on testing procedures, identifying and reporting issues, and collaborating with development teams.

Principal Duties & Responsabilities

Design and implementing testing strategies, testing procedures:

  • Develop testing procedures to evaluate the performance and validation of software.
  • Build software testing programs that automate testing processes.
  • Executing Testing Procedures.

Run software testing procedures to assess the software’s functionality

  • Document all testing procedures and report any identified bugs.
  • Make recommendations to improve the software product.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other Test Engineers, Software Programmers, and team members.
  • Attend meetings with the development team and clients.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Education and experience:

  • Engineering Degree.
  • Experience at least 2 years of experience in software testing, preferably for cybersecurity products.

Technical skills:

  • Proficiency in testing tools.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages and programming languages such as C/C++.
  • Language: excellent French / English communication skills (both written and spoken).

Interpersonal skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience & Qualifications

Terms of Employment

  • Based in Paris, hybrid working.
  • Full time position.
  • CDI (Contrat à Durée Indéterminée), under French Law.
  • Salary competitive and commensurate with experience.
